Hacked... By an elf!
White Castle's number one comment across all social media platforms is, "Can I get a White Castle in my town." So, we took this energy and turned it into a fun holiday execution. Thus, Aubrey the twitter-hacking-elf was born.
It all started with a tweet and a few profile changes...
...And just like that White Castle's twitter account was, "taken over," by an elf. He then gave a list of demands and started having fun with our account.
Aubrey heard nothing from White Castle corporate. So, he brought out the big guns and started giving out coupons.
...And our fans loved him.
Aubrey even made the news!
But, all good things must come to an end. So, we took our account back and made a statement.
As you could imagine, not everyone was happy about this.
At the end of the day Aubrey managed to get over 360,000 impressions on his tweets and a 3.57% engagement rate - All without any media spend. Not bad for an elf with a dream.
